Relocation to Madrid. We manage the entire process.

From the first paperwork to the day you're fully settled. One point of contact, no surprises.

Tell us about your case

Moving to Madrid from abroad means making several decisions at once: where to live, how to get your documentation, where to enrol your children, how to open a bank account before you have a NIE. The process is manageable. What usually goes wrong is the order.

Aedara coordinates the full arrival. We activate the right experts at each stage — legal, tax, administrative — and manage the process from start to finish. You arrive. We handle the rest.

01

Initial assessment

A conversation to understand your situation: where you're coming from, when you arrive, whether you have family, which steps you've already started.

02

Personalised plan

We define the correct order of steps based on your profile and timeline. Every case is different.

03

Full coordination

Aedara activates the specialists you need at each stage — legal, tax, administrative — and manages communication across all of them.

04

Follow-through to completion

We don't close the case until you're fully operational: NIE, housing, school, bank account, health insurance.

The service covers everything from day one until you're fully operational in Madrid: NIE and residence documentation, registration, rental property search, contract review, utility set-up, bank account opening, health insurance, school search and initial tax advice. Every case is different. We activate what you need, in the right order.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to settle in Madrid?
For the basic steps — NIE, registration, bank account, housing — between 6 and 12 weeks, depending on nationality and appointment availability. Aedara manages the process so everything advances in parallel without bottlenecks.
Does it make sense to hire relocation support if I've already sorted some things?
Yes. Many clients arrive with their NIE already processed or a flat already chosen. Aedara joins where you need it: it can manage only the outstanding parts or coordinate the full process from that point.
Do you manage visas or only the steps after arriving in Spain?
Both. If you need a visa — non-lucrative, digital nomad, work — we coordinate the process from the consulate in your home country. If you already have entry authorisation, we manage everything that follows upon arrival.
What happens if something gets complicated after the process ends?
The ongoing support service exists for exactly that. Many clients transition from the settling-in service to monthly delegated management or on-demand concierge, depending on their needs.
Do you work with companies relocating employees to Madrid?
Yes. We coordinate relocation for companies bringing workers to Madrid, with a single point of contact for the employee and reporting to the HR or mobility manager.
